The Marion County Lady Knights were in action against the Taylor County Lady Cardinals Friday night in the Roby Dome.

  • Almost in Olympic spirits

Industrialization. Empty shells of buildings. Soot. What am I talking about, you ask? The slums of Cleveland? War-torn Bosnia?

No, silly. I’m talking about the Winter Games and their host city, Sochi.

  • Lady Knights fall to Cards

A slow crawl upwards on the Marion County Lady Knights record was put to a halt on Jan. 31.

Lady Knights Coach Anthony Epps said that he liked the effort of his players during the game.

  • Aquaknights notch another victory

Like a knife  through butter, the Marion County Aquaknights cut through the water to take another win last week.
On Jan. 28, the Aquaknights hosted and defeated Nelson County High School, Thomas Nelson High School, and Bethlehem High School.
“Tonight was great,” Aquaknights Coach Holly Buckman said. “The swimmers did really good. It’s always nice when Bethlehem and Nelson and Marion County get together because we always practice together.”
